This recipe was named "Moon fudge" for how many times the son of the lady I got it from came in and mooned the daughter while she was making it! We renamed in "Over the Moon fudge" - so we got a few less questions about the name! ;)
This is so wonderful over ice cream and the great thing about it - you can freeze it and only take out what you need! Love that!
Over the Moon Fudge
In a medium saucepan -
Melt:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup chocolate chips
Add:
2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/2 cups eveporated milk (12 oz can)
add another handful or so chocolate chips
Cook till thick! Remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla
We like to pour in seperate containers and add flavorings such as almond, mint, and cinnamon. Also - as it cool it is so yummy to stir in peanut butter chips and swirl!
