Pizza Crust

I got this so long ago, I can't even remember where I got it! It is the best! I have variations so be patient!

3 Cups Warm Water
1 TBSP yeast
5 Cups flour

Mix add flour till not sticky, top and bake at 450 8-13 minutes

Our families favorite flour mixture for above recipe:
1 C whole wheat
1 1/2 C semolina flour
2 1/2 Cups flour
Add garlic powder (a couple tsps), salt (2-3 tsp), olive oil(??? I just add some, 1/8-1/4 cup or so), italian seasoning (a lot because we love seasoned crust!) , and oregano. You will need more flour to make stiff, I add whole wheat.

Be sure to let rest 15 minutes before rolling and topping;) Just works better that way!

Favorite Toppings:
BBQ Chicken Pizza
BBQ sauce
shredded chicken
sliced green onions
chopped tomatos
sliced red pepper
cilantro
Mozzerella cheese

Hawaiian Pizza
Pizza Sauce
Ham/ canadian bacon
Pineapple
Green Pepper
olives
cheese

Pesto Pizza
Pesto sauce
Cheese
tomatos
spinach
chicken etc...

Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Alfredo sauce
onions
roasted garlic
cooked chopped spinach
shredded chicken
cheese

Meat Lover Pizza
Pizza sauce;)
pepperoni
canadian bacon
italian sausage (cooked)
bacon (cooked and crumbled)
olives & mushrooms
cheese

Obviously there are a million variations, but these are a few ideas. You can use all on a pizza or pick and choose what you like/ have! Our kids love to make their own at a pizza bar! It just tastes better when you picked it, ya know?

This is great, thanks! And I can't believe your kids will eat all those things on a pizza. Mine: pepperoni.

Ya, they LOVE pizza! If we make feozen or buy it they only like cheese. But if we make it and they help put the stuff on, they will eat just about anything! They really love broccoli on pizza... weird! ;)

I tried it and loved it! But it makes A LOT of dough, even when I cut in half. What do you do with all that dough? A party!

Um no - no party, I live with Jonathan.... Sorry, I sometimes forget other peoples hubbys don't eat their whole own pizza....;)
It can stay in the fridge for a week - to use for calzones, or even frozen!!!
I am glad that you like it though! ;)

The calzone thing is a great idea. And don't worry--I'd already halved it and what I did have left, I just put it in the freezer. No biggie. Don't feel bad. It was wonderful and it just means I don't have to dirty the mixer for next time.

Can he REALLY eat a whole pizza? Wow! Steve eats as much or the same as I eat... well, except now. Right now I eat more than him.

Ya, seriously, I make a pizza for me and the kids, and one for Jonathan! Sometimes there is a peice leftover... from OUR pizza;)
Good, I am glad you are so stinkin smart and threw it in the freezer - it really is nice to have on hand for a fast dinner (and cheap!) Yay!
